How long does it take to get a title loan?

Typically less than a day from the first contact with our company!

How long do I have to pay back the title loan?

We give you 2-3 years depending on the loan amount.  

I wanted a short term loan. Is this different?

No problem. You can pay it back anytime and we do not have a prepayment penalty to do so.

What documents are needed?

• Copy of your drivers license
• Original Title if you have it
• Insurance (we can help with this)
• References
• Proof of residence (verify where you live)
• Proof that you have some income of at least $1500 a month or a cosigner 

Should I come to your office first?

We would appreciate it if you could fill out the application online first because we have more staff to handle our online inquiries than manpower in the office.  

What is a Pink Slip loan and what is an auto pawn? Are they car title loans?

A pink slip loan is the same as a title loan. In Santa Barbara we have so many customers that we cannot hold onto any vehicle. This is why you always have it under your control. Now an auto pawn is a different animal. They require you to park it and leave the keys at their lot.  

Do I need to be employed?

You do need income and we look for at least $1500 a month but if you do not we will take a cosigner.

Do you pull a credit report?

We do pull one to check if you are currently in active bankruptcy. That is the only reason and is not used to make a decision on the loan.

My car has another loan on it. What do I do now?

Let us pay that off and put it in the new loan so you can start fresh. Plus this helps your credit.  

I live in California but my car is titled in another state. Is this a problem?

We would have to do a title transfer for you.

My mortgage (or rent) is late. Is this a problem?

We expect you to be late on your bills. No matter what bill you are talking about.

Do I have to have a checking account at the bank?

Self employed people do need checking accounts BUT no one else does.

How does my car title get changed at the DMV?

We do all the DMV work no matter where your title is at. Even if you cannot find it, we can still do a title loan.
